You got the update as part of the soak test? I didn't think that was going to get pushed out until tomorrow. Good news.

I got the soak test this morning, then later this afternoon my wife got the OTA and she is NOT part of the soak test group. It was a short and successful test!

Not my link, but if you haven't gotten it yet:

Blur_Version.139.10.53.ghost_verizon.Verizon.en.US

Download to SD card > reboot into recovery (power + volume down, then select recovery, then power + volume up) > install from SD card > select the downloaded file

MAKE SURE YOU ARE STOCK!

As I recall, the OTA names for Motorola updates always have the version that they are updating - not the version that they are updating to. So, that probably is the real update.

That said, if it were me - you've waited this long for the OTA. Might as well wait for it to push to the phone.

Yeah, the naming convention is strange. I was on the soak test, but I had to reset to stock, and the soak test email specifically said NOT to reset after a certain time, or else I'd lose the OTA soak test.

I can confirm the file is the new update though, since I used it after flashing back to stock!

ahh you need to hold the vol up for 10 seconds and then tap the power button to get into the recovery menu.
