I see that the Photon should support AVRCP but I cant change tracks via steering wheel controls when playing music in my car through bluetooth. I can activate voice commands as well as pickup and drop calls. I can change tracks on my ipod just fine when playing music through bluetooth. Anyone experience this on the photon?

I've never tried to control my phone through a car's bluetooth controls, personally. I have played music through it, but was always the passenger and used the phone's controls. Seems like it should work, maybe it's some incompatibility with your BT dongle and the Photon?

That's what I thought too so I contacted GROM and they gave me dongle reset instructions and the comment that it should work. I tried it with a friend's Bionic and all the profiles are working. HSP, A2DP, and AVRCP. Seems to just be my phone. I checked /system/usr/keylayout/AVRCP.kl and all the key bindings are in there, just not being acted on.
