sending texts over wifi?

Hello Forumeers,

Very new to motorola, having just come from a blackberry and I'm having a few issues, the main one being that with my blackberry I was able to use any available wifi connection to make calls and send texts if the mobile signal wasnt strong enough.
Is this possible with my motorola razr i? Cant seem to find any way of setting it up to do so.
