Default 4G?

I'm pretty sure to receive 4G, you need the proper radio, but I just wanna make sure we cant receive a 4G signal by upgrading the software. I know Virgin doesn't have it available yet but hopefully they'll hook us up in the near future.

You need the hardware for it. Software has little to do with it.

I highly doubt it would even be possible with our Triumphs. Maybe in the future when Sprint has had LTE for a while MAYBE just MAYBE Virgin mobile will catch on. but...who knows. /:

And if it did ever happen, but it won't Virgin would charge $10 a month just for having a 4G enabled phone on the network, even if 4G hasn't rolled out where you live. Same as Sprint.

the TRIUMPH will never connect to 4G. it does NOT have the hardware capable of it, and you cannot enable 4G in software.

maybe in the future if sprint decides VM can use their 4G network, but for now, the answer is no.

also when/if that does happen, Virgin will need to release phones that can use it. none of the current phones will work on 4G.
