I bought a capacitive stylus on Amazon. Just one of the generic ones. I knoe there's different types and whatnot but I honestly can't see any of them being much better than the rest. It works ok, but because of the nature of capacitive styli, I don't really think they're much more effective than a finger.
I bought one as well, just to see if they work better. I don't think they do, the one I bought you have to push quite hard to get it to change from home screen to apps, thoughit seemed to work well to scan the page up and down.
I'm about to return some to Amazon, because they're thicker than some pens I've used and don't offer any greater detail than a finger. Anyone know about thinner ones, closer to what a PDA offers?

Well there are smaller pda like styluses with a thin tip, but the MT doesn't have the technology for it. If you are interested it's called an s-pen and it's what the Samsung Galaxy Note can use.
Why would this not work on the Triumph, if it's compatible with the capacitive screen?
Well the Samsung Galaxy Note as well as the HTC Flyer have a special sort of capacitive touchscreen that allows smaller specialized styluses to work on them. I'm not exactly sure on all the details, but it just needs a special sort of screen for it to work. Although now that I think about it, you could make a makeshift stylus using a battery, and some sort of conductive metal attached to the negative end of the battery, but if you were to do that you would need a rounded end so you don't scratch the screen even if it is gorilla glass there is still that chance that if the metal were sharp it would catch on something and scratch.
