Default Camcorders messing up

Hey lately I've been having trouble with my cameras. I take video clips and everything seems fine, then I go back later to watch the videos and they are a distorted mess of lines and colors, although the audio is clear. Also when the videos are visible they often skip and then the audio is totally knocked off balance. Anyone else have this problem? I might try a different rom or sd card. I'm running cm7 reloaded.

I haven't heard of it happening, but maybe try a fresh install without any apps and test it out.

It may be your SD card and/or your rom. The SD card may be too small and the camcorder doesn't have enough space to work with and has to cache it. Cm7 may also be a problem. It's never really been stable. I'm using froyocream sandwich and its amazingly fast ans creamy smooth, plus perfectly stable.

CM7-reloaded is perfectly stable and has been for awhile now, the sd card should have no effect on the video what so ever cause the camcorder is a system apk so the only time at all the sd card may come into play is if it saves videos there, in which case if the video was to large it wouldnt be able to save it, it would say theres not enough space, but cm7 does have a known issue with certain video playbacks, you can try enabling the 180 degree view in cyanogen settings and watch it with the phone upside down see if that works

the reason your froyocream sandwich works probly better with the camera/camcorder is cause its based off froyo which is the phones stock system, so camera and camcorder probly respond better

OH! Its reloaded I thought it was just cm7. The phone has the most trouble writing 720p video. You could overclock it slightly to maybe around about.... 1305.5mhz. That should let it write it faster and the video should be clear and smooth.
