So here we go struggling like everyone else on the forums, my new replacement (#3 on the list) I received today is also a dud. Hard lights light up and then turn off while typing. So now I have a 3rd replacement which will be here in 72 hours. Man I wonder if I can break a record on how many replacements I will get in a row So far I am sitting at 2 Triumphs in 5 days and the 3rd is on the way LOL

sorry buddy I know someone who has you beat.
friend of mine runs a tiny hole in the wall mobile phone store and takes in phones like these towards others and he has a drawer full of these damn things. last time I counted it was at 25. all stacked up neat and tidy. I guess its not hard to arrange them neatly they are nothing but sharp edges.
most are bad ESN or hardware trouble like yours. people got fed up and went to another phone.

25?!! arrange them like a domino tumble take a video & post on youtube
You have one with bad esn, don't you? You should send it back to them for replacement. If it fires back you can claim "honest mistake", if it doesn't you will have clean Triumph.

Are you not mailing yours back to VM when you get replacements?
I just sent two of them out today. I had to wait due to #2 not working so I moved back into #1 until #3 showed up

p.s. I like your keyboard.
Yeah love the wireless keyboard, just wish it was a little more quite when typing, I always worry about waking up my 3 year old who is right across the hall from the computer room.

Funny Story but lol i had 7 replacements @ one time lol...they kept sending me some F up phone
And this is why I blew up my triumph lol, don't have the patience to keep calling someone in india that can't say my name to keep ordering replacements
do you need to send them back the bad replacements or you can just keep them?
VM wants the defective units back, so that they can mail them to others waiting for replacements (hopefully after fixing what ails them).
So far I've had to send back two. One was my original MT with a dead touchscreen, and the 2nd was the first replacement, with a poor touchscreen. In both cases I noted the tracking number on the postage-paid return mailer, and was glad I did, because in both cases VM claimed, a few weeks after sending the replacement, that they were still waiting for the old defective phone, but the tracking numbers proved that they were already delivered to VM. If they don't get the old phone back they threaten to shut off service to both the old phone and its replacement.
So my third replacement lasted 2 days is now completely dead. I can't even turn it on. After talking with the lady on the phone she is sending a grade A
Grade A: Returned in box Motorola Triumph may have some use but could be also brand new
Grade B: Possibly fixed phone with replacement screen, and other other cosmetics possibly fixed. More than likely will no work
edit: LMAO I got to tun on, haha I flexed the screen and now it works
