Default (Expired)New promo code at Moto Store ($100 off)

This post is a copy from an XDA post so credit to the guy who originally posted.

If you missed out on the first xoom -200 error, here is a coupon to save 100 bucks

There is a new promo, same gig as before except it is now a $100 off coupon. The code is: MOTOXOOM

Go to the Moto store, order it and at the Amazon checkout apply the code.

Thanks for the tip. However, with news of a possible $529 WiFi-only Xoom. I think I will wait.

Decisions..Decisions..what to do $699 for the ability to have 3G/4G if needed or wait for the Wifi only version priced at $549 - $599..????

$100 justifies a few of the quirks of this device. Ordered. Now...what is best buy mobile's return window?

Do they still require you to pay the $35 activation fee? If so, can you cancel it when you receive it?

Edit: No they don't. I ordered one, and will return my unit to Best Buy this week.

Dunbar,

thanks goodness not! it was a clean purchase...i got the wifi/3g/4g version JUST IN CASE i want to use Verizon 3g/4g in the future. For the time being, i will wirelessly tether it to my rooted EVO 4g. No data limits and i can use 4g already! =]

It appears the code no longer works... Also Droid-life said best buy was going to honor this.

Does anyone know for sure what Best Buy's return policy is on tablets? I thought it was 14 days after purchase, but I called last night and they assured me it was 30 days. I would hate to bring it in next Friday and find out that I couldn't return it.

Default Did the $100 moto promocode work for anyone?

Just wanted to know if the promo code really worked. I tried it but no dice. I already own a xoom but I would take it back if I can save a few bucks. Kinda like a slap in the face for the people who bought their product early. As a business you want to create as little buyer's remorse as possible. If that's your goal you shouldn't give discounts on a device a week after it has come out because the people who supported them early feel duped.
