Default XT720 or Galaxy S?

Hey everyone, just saw on GSMArena that this phone is now avaliable to buy (The XT720) which now gives me the decision in the title.

In terms of money, I have the money for both (£360 XT720 or £410 SGS) but i'm just wondeirng what phone would suit me better.

I am sorta inclined towards a cameraphone, having a Samsing G800 now I prefer to have a fairly good camera on my phone. From what i've read the SGS camera is pretty good for its size and even the Night mode can make up for its lack of a flash.
But the XT720 has 8MP and Xenon flash. Which would suggest quite a focused camera.

The other part is the "Apparently" super quick SGS processor + Super AMOLED screen. I like the look of a sharp screen and would rather have the fastest processor at the time of buying, but as the SGS board is showing there seems to be a few issues with it after some use.
While the XT720 is using a slower processor and a less clear LCD screen. WOuld it be possible to overclock the processor in the XT720 to 1 ghz?

Basically i'm torn between a phone that I really like (The SGS) and a phone with the potential to have a great camera (the XT720) but be a tad less special in the other parts of its make up

i think it's better xt720 because had 8mp camera n xenon flash light, n in night mode its more clear when i import the picture into computer...i believe that xt720 can over clock until 1,3 Mhz. n xt720 had graphic cart on the prosesor so xt720 not need so height clock to proses the display.

Wife has the S and i have the motoroi with 8mp. I.ll i likewise phone over hers. Although the amoled screen is beautifully clear. It has some hardware issues. Camera and camcorder on motoroi is very nice.

we've been given an XT720 to review, I can confirm that we we're able to overclock the CPU to 1.27GHZ without any problems. Even without overclocking, the XT720 can run graphically intensive apps without problem due to the graphics chip.

We haven't been as impressed with the camera as we thought. Photos replicate colour well and are of good quality but the camcorder mode is terrible, even when we set it to record HD video we found the video to be jumpy and of horrible quality.

We have a Youtube video here demonstating the camera's quality.

So if the video recording is a big issue for you, we can't recommend the XT720.

The super AMOLED display on the galaxy S is stunning, second only to the iPhone 4.

We'd recommend the Galaxy S

Gadget First, got a few questions for you:

1. Can you redirect me to the procedure you used to overclock your XT720?

2. Does 720p recording stutter when you have your XT720 overclocked?

3. In stock clocks, my XT720 is able to capture 480p videos lag-free. Can you reproduce this result?

Thanks.
