Droid 2 global...shortcuts/sticky keys???

Ok, so I have the Droid 2 Global (which BTW I absolutely LOOOVE), however occasionally when I am texting it acts as if sticky keys has been enabled. Random letters while auto open apps in the middle of my message. If I reboot or do a battery pull it fixes the prob, but is there a quicker/easier way????

clear the data in your keyboard

from your homscreen
hit menu
settings
applications
manage applications
all
and locate your keyboard
tap it and hit either clear data or cache, whichever one you want to
the keyboard can be named anything, and i dont have a d2g handy with me so i cant tell you what it would be called unfortunately
