Wink Don't get caught listening on the sly

Donít be like Bob.

Bob forgot the 11th Commandment: Thou shalt not get caught.

It happened during a meeting, when Bob was very slyly listening to the greatest hits of 1968 on his mobile device, his headset cord running up his sleeve. He was holding his hand to his ear to cover the headphones, looking thoughtful, and appeared to his boss to be deeply engaged in the business of the meeting. In reality, Bob was in his own little world, caught up in the music playing in his ear.

But then Bobís phone did something unexpected. It fell out of his pocket and landed on the floor, pulling itself free from the headset. ďHelter SkelterĒ started blaring through his phoneís speaker. Bob, in a panic, fumbled to end the music program only to discover the screen was locked. In a mortified panic, he fumbled and fumbled, finally yanking the battery from the device. The music went silent, as did the room. Slowly glancing up, he saw the eyes of the other members of the meeting glaring at him, his bossís eyes the most menacing of them all.

Now, nobody can say for sure that Bobís gaffe was the reason, but Bob was due for a promotion and a raise and didnít receive either. Coincidence? Bob doesnít think so, and heís no longer taking any chances. Oh, he still listens to his music. But now heís smart enough to use Hushup.

Hushup is your protection against those inevitable moments when your music accidentally blares for all the world to hear. Whether youíre in the office, in a meeting, in class, at the library, or at Aunt Ednaís funeral, Hushup knows if your headset has pulled loose from your mobile device and automatically mutes the sound of any music you happen to be playing.

Itís as simple to engage as clicking on the Hushup icon on your home screen. A special icon appears to let you know Hushup is working. Hushup only functions when music is playing, and it leaves your ringtone and notification sounds completely unaffected. Though it works in the background, it wonít keep your phone from sleeping, helping to conserve battery life. Hushup even tallies up how many times it saves you! The only product of its kind, Hushup will quickly become your most frequently-used app.

Keep your music to yourself! Download Hushup today.

Hushup is a brand spanking new release from Adaptive Alchemy. Available now exclusively at the Amazon appstore for Android!

Fairly good attempt at advertising... But any GOOD media players already have this feature built in.

When I disconnect headphones, playback stops. When I put them back in, playback resumes. I won't advertise, suffice to say quite a few popular music apps do this.

It's a sly attempt at advertizing. But, it seemed like it took much more effort than it was worth. B-

Well since these are the 34 commandments, I'm not sure where you're getting your information from

Quote:
Thou shalt not steal if there is direct victim.
Thou shalt not worship pop idols or follow lost prophets.
Thou shalt not take the names of Johnny Cash, Joe Strummer, Johnny Hartman, Desmond Decker, Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix or Syd Barret in vain.
Thou shalt not think that any male over the age of 30 that plays with a child that is not their own is a peadophile... Some people are just nice.
Thou shalt not read NME.
Thou shalt not stop liking a band just because they've become popular.
Thou shalt not question Stephen Fry.
Thou shalt not judge a book by it's cover.
Thou shalt not judge Lethal Weapon by Danny Glover.
Thou shalt not buy Coca-Cola products.
Thou shalt not buy Nestle products.
Thou shalt not go into the woods with your boyfriend's best friend, take drugs and cheat on him.
Thou shalt not fall in love so easily.
Thou shalt not use poetry, art or music to get into girls' pants.
Use it to get into their heads.
Thou shalt not watch Hollyokes.
Thou shalt not attend an open mic and leave before it's done just because you've finished your shitty little poem or song you self-righteous prick.
Thou shalt not return to the same club or bar week in, week out just 'cause you once saw a girl there that you fancied but you're never gonna ****ing talk to.
Thou shalt not put musicians and recording artists on ridiculous pedestals no matter how great they are or were.
The Beatles... Were just a band.
Led Zepplin... Just a band.
The Beach Boys... Just a band.
The Sex Pistols... Just a band.
The Clash... Just a band.
Crass... Just a band.
Minor Threat... Just a band.
The Cure... Just a band.
The Smiths... Just a band.
Nirvana... Just a band.
The Pixies... Just a band.
Oasis... Just a band.
Radiohead... Just a band.
Bloc Party... Just a band.
The Arctic Monkeys... Just a band.
The Next Big Thing.. JUST A BAND.

Thou shalt give equal worth to tragedies that occur in non-english speaking countries as to those that occur in english speaking countries.
Thou shalt remember that guns, bitches and bling were never part of the four elements and never will be.
Thou shalt not make repetitive generic music,
thou shalt not make repetitive generic music,
thou shalt not make repetitive generic music,
thou shalt not make repetitive generic music.

Thou shalt not pimp my ride.
Thou shalt not scream if you wanna go faster.
Thou shalt not move to the sound of the wickedness.
Thou shalt not make some noise for Detroit.
When I say "Hey" thou shalt not say "Ho".
When I say "Hip" thou shalt not say "Hop".
When I say, he say, she say, we say, make some noise... kill me.
Thou shalt not quote me happy.
Thou shalt not shake it like a polaroid picture.
Thou shalt not wish you girlfriend was a freak like me.
Thou shalt spell the word "Pheonix" P-H-E-O-N-I-X not P-H-O-E-N-I-X, regardless of what the Oxford English Dictionary tells you.
Thou shalt not express your shock at the fact that Sharon got off with Bradley at the club last night by saying "Is it".

Thou shalt think for yourselves.

Haha. I liked this post. Bro does seem fitting, especially because both times I started to read it, I thought, "Oh great, this Bob here is a real dope..." only to realize it was a salespitch. Twice.
