Yea. I would say I listen to just about anything too. Going to bed its good listening to some classical music. Country, if its a nice beat I'll like it. Pop, same thing.
What I'm listening to? I have some 70's, 80's, 90's, old skool playlists. I love the 80's tho. I was into pop music heavy in the 80's until I learned about RnB, rap. Now, like I said before I listen to just about anything.
Michael Jackson is somewhere near the top of my list. Anytime his music, videos has my kids; boy 3, boy 6, girl 10 become fans in this day n age....its amazing. My 10 yo loves Janet too..
I like Ballad Rock, some Metal, RnB, Rap, Hip Hop, Pop, Classical, Christmas...Christmas. I can listen to that music ALL YEAR LONG. Some Reggea...probably some other music that I dont know the genre.

I like pretty much everything. I've been listening to an Australian hard rock band lately called Karnivool. Check 'em out on Youtube or something. They have a pretty unique sound. Been listening to "All I know" over .. and over .. and over ...

Lol not likely. I listen to every kind of metal there is and I still don't like to listen to Belphegor all that often.
I listen to most types of music, anything punk, metal, indie, doom metal, goth, industrial, ska, aor, hm, hr, even classical. Don't like reggae tho, and not too keen on hiphop, but more or less, anything good.

Lately, I have been listening to a LOT of Armin Van Buuren (Trance).
It has been quite a while since I've listened to anything else... (I have about 52-53 hours (his entire discography) of his music in my library)
Blackguard
As Blood Runs Black
Amon Amarth
Children Of Bodom
Within The Ruins
Shatter Silence
Sons of Aurelius
Eluvietie
August Burns Red
Dark Tranquility
Rings Of Saturn
Burning The Masses
Dethrone The Sovereign
Wretched
The Absence
After The Burial
Conducting From The Grave
All Shall Perish
Dreamshade
Obscura
I buy everything from Megadeth to Rancid / Anti-Flag and through to Glassjaw
But I'll listen to whatever is on... I'm not too fussy with my music, but I do prefer people that can actually play the instruments unlike the majority of the people on the more common radio stations in the UK
i also like:
deftones
poison the well
led zeppelin
the doors
drop dead gorgeous
everytime i die
90's alternative rock
Classic rock
music from the 40's (wierd i know...)
older chimaira
killswitch engage
will haven
heavy stuff
hardcore stuff
stuff to get me pumped...

This list is not exhaustive and there are many things that cross genres so this is the best / simplest way of listing:
acid jazz, nu jazz, trip-hop, jungle, intelligent DnB, electronica, house, trance, break beat, reggae, acoustic, indie, rock, singer/songwriter, soul, funk and some older hip hop.

What kind of music I don't care to listen to might be a better question.
In the morning I usually listen to classical (Romantic era to the present, especially the Eastern European composers).
After that it might be jazz, rock, blues, Latin American (Salsa, Merengue, Brazillian), soca, standards, reggae, disco, oldies, Tuvan, Cape Verde, Klezmer, Afro-Pop, Fado, etc, etc, etc.
What don't I listen to? Rap and other forms of music that do not have all 3 elements, melody, harmony and rhythm. Without all 3 I tend to get bored quickly.
I listen across the spectrum except metal and anything very similar. I can't stand the "singers" (what do you call them because they don't sing) screaming at me and sounding like they're on their death bed.

Primarily Hardcore Punk(not the basketball shorts variety of HC) and Crust Punk but I like a bit of lots of other genres from Black Metal and 70's-early 80's Metal to Gothic/Deathrock and Sludge to Classical and Neo-Folk.
I guess I can provide some samples like others have. Some favs off the top of my head include World Burns to Death, Hellshock, Broken Bones, TSOL, Christian Death, Cirith Ungol, Manilla Road,
Amebix, Inepsy, Discharge, Sisters of Mercy, Death in June, Rudimentary Peni, Black Flag, Poison Idea, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Eyehategod, Weedeater, Neurosis, Darkthrone, blah blah blah...

Kanye West, "My Beautiful, Dark, Twisted Fantasy"
JB Hutto and the Hawks, "Slidewinder"
Julie London, "Whatever Jule Wants"
Leon Thomas, "Live in Berlin with Oliver Nelson"
Dwight Yoakam, "Dwight Sings Buck"
Bon Iver, ""For Emma, Forever"
Keith Richards, "Live at the Hollywood Palladium"
Los Cadillac Fabulosos, "Hola and Chau"
currently into Indie and Desi. Listen on Altec 604s w/ Bottlehead amplification. I really like this Internets thing for music and feel it might be more than just a passing fad. I can't stand 128 Mp3.
I prefer country, especially traditional country. I grew up on oldies (my parents had control of the radio) so I listen to some of that. Other than that, I'll listen to pretty much anything, except heavy metal, hard rock, foul language, and anything that involves screaming.

Electronica/dance/trance/house - Tiesto, Paul Oakenfold, Sasha, John Digweed, Bonobo, Stereolab, Maurco picotto, Paul Van Dyk, Oceanlab, Armin Van Burren, Ben Gold, Gatecrasher, Godskitchen, Cream Anthems, Ministry of Sound
80's rock and pop - David Bowie, Supertramp, Queen, Van Halen, Ozzy, Metallica, Iron Maiden
Game music - anything from Final Fantasy, Zelda, Metal Gear Solid etc
OST ( movie soundtracks or film soundtracks ) - Hans Zimmer, John Williams etc
Random bands - Blonde Redhead, Hollerado, Living Legends, Gorillaz
Depends on my mood. And I don't think there is anything that I don't listen to - genre-wise....
But I usually listen to classic rock, southern rock, country & western, some blues, hard rock & metal (esp from 80s & 70s), Bollywood music, Nepalese folk music, etc
I listen to Rap music, REAL Rap music, no auto-tune, no banging beats, with actual effort in them. And I won't say old-school cause there are great rappers from 2000+ like B.o.B, Lupe Fiasco and underground rappers like Tech N9ne and Atmosphere .. crap like Lil Wayne and Soulja Boy are embarrassing
according to my last.fm band splash, this is what I've been into lately:
