I have to get up too early so no midnight runs for me. I will be stopping by in the morning on the way to work. I'll be surprised if they have them on the shelf yet.
Well there's the news post on the main page that showed some already on shelves a couple days ago. System wouldnt allow cashiers to ring them up yet. So my hope is they're stocked but not able to ring up yet
Ya, a friend of mine is calling all over town ... Walmart, Staples, etc. Nobody has even heard of the Nexus 10, much less have them on shelves. I guess some stores will, but it looks like it's gonna be a crapshoot.
Sad thing is that at my local Walmart, even though they carry the Nexus 7, they still (as of a few days ago) don't have one out on display. If it hadn't been for this site, I'd would've had no idea that you could get one there.
Imagine how well Nexus devices would do if Google made more than a half-ass attempt to sell them at retail.
They had the sign for so I don't know why they wouldn't have.I just think it to early I will be over there around 9:00 am if anything happens i'll post it.
The first walmart had a spot for it in case, but nothing there and associate said they wouldnt have any for a couple weeks. The second walmart didnt have a space for it, and none in the case and seemed to have no idea what i was talking about.
Meanwhile, Play Store still isnt selling them at 130 am. Cmon man.
I checked with 3 Walmarts this morning. People at the first 2 had a blank deer-in-the-headlights expression on their face. They never heard of one of them whatchacallits. The girl at the 3rd at least checked into it and couldn't find any info on the store getting any but would check with the manager when they came in.
I may order one online today but I'm very hesitant to do that. Past experience ordering from Google hasn't inspired me with confidence.
Wife went to two Walmart by the house. One actually said they don't arrive until noon today. FedEx delivery.
Im afraid to wait... but may go by my Walmart again this afternoon and check before ordering online. I dont want to wait, pay sales tax or shipping, or deal with google if i need to exchange it for some reason.

I am seriously so frustrated.
I'm in the same boat... went to two Walmarts this morning. The first barely knew what a "Nexus tablet" was... (the lady actually asked "do you mean the ipad? We sell those!) !!! #@$#$. The second didn't know that there would be a "10" but was happy to sell me a N7. /sigh
Anyway... do I order online at noon or roll the dice that some stock will come in this week at local Walmarts? (Wondering if I should call at 12:30ish to see if they get them from their fedex shipments like the above post mentioned).
I've never bought a physical item from the Play store, I wonder how easy it is to put in an order at noon and cancel it if we find any at local Walmarts at 12:30. Its obviously not going to ship within an hour or purchasing.
I got errors a couple times just trying to add to the cart that I didn't even stop to see if there were options. Even if there was, the receipt says it won't even ship for 3-5 days. The default shipping was 2-day.

They are getting slammed. Sigh... as more than a few people have pointed out, its kind of silly how hard it is to give away your money. :-P
Wife is on here way back to the store that told her they would be delivered by FedEx around noon. She knows the manager. Had no luck getting through the play store.

It's good to know that people never really grow up......reading this thread is worse than listening to my 8 yr old talk about how many days it is until Christmas but I chuckle when I realize that these are ADULTS talking about this stuff.
I'm sure the N10 is great and all, but I like how people get so obsessed about things that they literally are worried about the HOURS that it might take till it gets into their hands, and whether they should take the day off work in order to drive around to every WalMart within 100 miles hoping to snag one.
From the reviews I read it seems this is a good tablet, maybe not a great tablet, at a good price but again not a great price like the N7 is vs it's competition.
If this thing was priced at $299 for 16gb and $349 for 32, I'd share your excitement (although I still need to work so I can't join you out on the road driving past every WalMart
Also people act SURPRISED that the WalMart employee isn't fully up to speed on all the ins and outs of the Nexus 10.......REALLY, WHY DOES THIS SURPRISE YOU?
Doesn't look like Walmart is going to happen. Very bad decision to associate with that store! At least the one store went and looked in the back. Guess I'll have to sit around and play with my Lego's!

Yeah, seems like the whole "Wall Mart will have them" was incorrect. I missed getting the 32gb this morning before it sold out with all the web site problems. Guess I'll just have to hope some stores get one.

Yeah same here. I finally broke down and ordered from Google. I wanted to be sure I had a new toy to play with when I'm off work for 4 days for the Thanksgiving holiday. I hope I don't regret ordering from Google. The last time I got Scroogled. At least the shipping was only $14.

I went to three different Wal-Marts in Central Illinois and found none. I ordered one on the Play Store and will wait patiently. The store actually double ordered mine and I had to go back in and cancel one of them....lucky for me the money showed back up in the account under a couple hours or the wife would be burying me before it gets here.
Is there any info out there that states whether or not Walmart or Staples or some other brick and motar will be stocking the pads?
I believe everyone thinks Walmart will have them because of the picture of store shelf that had the name and price on it. I haven't seen any other info. The last Walmart my wife went to actually said... even if we got them today they would probably remain in the back for at least a week! We don't stock shelves that fast.
I went into Staples on my way home and found a guy that actually knew what I was talking about when I said Nexus 10. He seemed to think they were suppose to get them but said their truck doesn't show up until Saturday. He was waiting for one as well.
I'm personally waiting on the 32GB no matter how long it takes. I skipped the Nexus 7 because I had a feeling they would make something bigger.
It was Google who first said Walmart would have the Nexus 7 32gb.
