Default The "Wooo Hooo" I just ordered My Nexus 4 Thread!

Ok people...it still may be 3:45am on the east coast! But I suspect there will be alot of Happy Posters sounding off in a few hours!

And I for sure will be one of them...

Yeah I was hoping Nexus 4 would be trending on Twitter right now and it just might but for all the wrong reasons. People are bent.

I hoped Googled learned a bit after the Nexus 7 order issues - same deal - feels like waiting for an iPhone ... Darn DejaVu ...

ITEM PRICE QTY TOTAL

My "Wooo hooo" is slightly dampened by only getting the 8GB one, but oh well, seems I'm lucky to have gotten anything.

I agree...there is absolutely no way I settle! 8GB is just simply not enough space for me!

Nahh, ordering the i5 was a piece of cake for me! This is just simply ridiculous right now...Google needs to just give us a solid set in stone time.

Got my 8GB (what I wanted anyway) in the UK around 8:45 am, Play Store was a bit of a hassle. Had it in cart several times, lots of errors coming up and clicked accept and buy on 3 seperate occasions but the last one went through and have since confirmed I only ordered one! Now just waiting for it to be delivered.

The XDA thread was (is) going off, lot's of p***ed of people there.

Congrats...

I just can't understand why Google wouldn't be better prepared for this? It's as if they don't understand that alot of people out here really want a pure Vanilla Google experience on their device...

I honestly think this is a serious science project for Google! To really see how demand will shape up for the N4

Unfortunately I'm one of the ones that are left scratching their heads wondering wtf was going on. Added to cart about 20 times got to press order about 15 times and every time it crashed and I had to start again... Never got one.

I wasn't willing to settle for 8GB version as that is just silly for me. So guess ill have to wait and see what happens...

Gutted!

Just like to add; get it together Google for everyones sake!

Sorry to hear of all the troubles everyone is dealing with. Reminds me of the Galaxy Nexus on Verizon launch, wow was that a cluster! Hopefully its only a day, or couple of hour delay, as opposed to the month we had to wait.

Wonder why it's still available for UK folks and not here? Is the US launch coming later in the day?

I feel your pain, i had a very similar experience and also have nothing to show for it !! It was so annoying to keep putting things in my basket for it to just crash and burn and decide to empty my basket at the same time.

I think its down to the not knowing what is going on that annoys me the most. Why cant they just tell us what the situation is!? All I hear is speculation constantly.

I was wondering about that. No option to buy yet here in Wash. DC. However the "Coming November 13th notice is gone".

I'm ready on the refresh button. But 9am PST is 12 Noon (EST) here.

I meant the notice on the right side of the page in the description. It used to say "Available for order November 13th" or something similar. That is gone. But yes I still see the "Coming Soon" on the left side with the Notify Me button.

I think Google called it the Nexus 4 because there were only about 4 devices available on launch.

Just picked my 16GB up from an O2 store.

I got fed up not being able to get past the proceed button on Google Play and upgraded.

I had a quick play in the shop with a demo unit and first impressions are OK. Not a huge upgrade from the GNex and the back IS a little bit disco. I know some reviews say you can hardly see the glints but you can. The footprint is nice and is actually visibly smaller than the GNex.

Will hopefully have time for a play tonight.

First impressions are OK and you paid £120 premium to get it now ? You really must have money to burn .. Is it at least unlocked too ?

I wonder if T-Mobile will be selling these for $350 sans contract. If so, I may have to call around just in case I don't get one on Google Play.

What shocks me more is that people actually buy "Pre-Order" handsets on eBay for twice the price - if people would stop buying them those people who's sole intention is eBay would stop buying the whole flippin stock

I struggled with the cart as well and even called support on it but they were no help. Got my order in for the 16g and bumper though!!! Super psyched.

COngrats to those of you who got one, but sounds like UK's problems are repeating here... Lots of failures. Good luck people, keep trying!

Default Successfully ordered a Nexus 4 (16 GB)

The site seemed to go live around 11:30 am EST. After a couple of error messages (with both the initial buy and then with processing the payment through Google Wallet), I succeeded.

Bought my 16gb N4 at 8:10, took 10-15 seconds to go to next step each time I pressed something on the website.
Straight after my order both 8 & 16gb models were saying "coming soon" again.
