Default How does Google ship the N4 in the UK?

I managed to hit the F5 key enough times last night to order a Nexus 4, and the email confirmation says shipping is 1 - 2 weeks away. yay!

Only problem is that I'm not likely to be home when they deliver If it's Royal Mail or City Link then I'll get a card and collection is no problem. Other carriers are a lot more hassle.

Can anyone that's had their Nexus 4 delivered in the UK let me know who Google use to ship it? I've got to work out if it's worth the trouble of trying to get the shipping address changed or not.

Many thanks

STM

I'd presume they use the same courier for the N4 as they did with my N7 and that was TNT so you'll likely get a card to say a delivery has been attempted. If there's no TNT depot in your town/city, they'll generally use a local courier who will hopefully leave a card.

Fwiw, if you ordered last night, I'd expect it quicker than 5-6 weeks. They told me on last Wednesday my N7 would take 2-3 weeks and it arrived on Monday. Likewise, one of the guys in the Desire HD forum ordered the N4 last night and he got an email telling him his order had shipped today.

Thanks!

TNT isn't too bad to get to for me, but they normally leave stuff with a neighbour, so looks like I'll be ok.

My email confirmation said 1 - 2 weeks, and shortly after that people on Twitter were saying 5 - 6 weeks, so if I'm lucky, I just got my order in in time <fingers crossed>
