Default Time Lapse Video

The time lapse video on this phone is great - way better than my old Galaxy Nexus. Good settings, but it also "smooths" frame transitions amazingly well. Bravo LG.

Time lapse is where your phone would take a series of photos with a set time between each photo, to make a short movie

In the camera app, bottom right corner of screen select video mode (looks like a video camera), then press the circle in the top right corner of screen to bring up the big options circle, then bottom of circle select the settings icon, time lapse is the first option. Have fun.

I hope that's an Android 4.2 feature and not exclusive to the Nexus 4.

My Nexus 4 just arrived at work

Having just gone with a SIM only deal, I'm waiting for them to activate the new SIM they sent out to me... I look forward to trying this feature out when I get chance
