In this video I show you how to change the way your tablet syncs with your online accounts (such as email). One benefit of turning this off is that you save battery.

If you don't like the lock screen widgets in 4.2.1, you can get rid of them by downloading Lockscreen Policy.

In words of one syllable, what does Lockscreen do?

And while we're at it, my start screen defaults to My Library. How canI get rid of that?

It locks your screen to prevent others from accessing your device or to prevent accidental screen "clicks".

My Library is a widget on your screen. Long press the widget (My Library in this case) hold it and drag to the top where it will say remove.

Thanks for that. I take it that it won't delete it permanently?

In this video I show you how you can copy and paste on an android tablet. However the functions behind it vary from app to app and, in some cases, it won't work at all.

Organize your icons,

Hold your finger over the shortcut and drag it to another icon and let go it will make a group with both icons shown.
Click the group and select the shortcut you want, you can also rename the folder/group in there as well. for say Games, Social Media, sport etc...

A little bit of catch up work here.

The first is notification app info tip

Next is quick switching user profiles

And finally, a way to stop app icons automatically appearing on the home screen after an install

Ya guys Google Now has ALWAYS been this way...it's called "Hotword Detection" and you can turn it on and off. When ON all you have to do is say "Google" and Google Now will automatically begin listening for your voice command. It's actually works perfectly and you'd be surprised at how much Google Now can do. You can say "Google...send an e-mail to David: Hey Dave you suck!" and it will pull up your G-Mail and send a message for ya.
