Default Can I save web pages to Nexus 7

Is it possible to save web pages to Nexus 7? Also how do I create folders, I presume I can store different items in particular folders as on a PC. Is there an equivalent facility to emulate Bookmarks or Favourites? I'm feeling my way so far, being new to Android

Chrome, as far as I can tell, does not allow for saving webpages for offline reading, which is strange because the Galaxy Nexus stock "Browser" allows that. Chrome is the stock browser for the Nexus 7 though, so looks like you'll have to download another browser that might support it, thought I'm not familiar with them enough to say if any do.

As for folders, I assume you mean for files, right? Download ES File Explorer from the Play Store and that will give you away browse files and create folders and such on the storage portion of the file system.

Bookmarks - inside the Chrome browser, when you have a page pulled up, tap the star in the address bar on the right side and that allows you to bookmark that page. To access old bookmarks, tap the three verticle dots on the right side at the top and tap "Bookmarks" OR you can open a new tab and it will have Bookmarks and Most Visited tabs at the bottom.

I'm led to believe Mozilla Firefox is one of the most successful downloads, so if I install Firefox I presume I'll have access to the familiar interface which will allow access to Bookmarks. I'll try your suggestion anyway.

Had a quick look at Pocket - it certainly looks good. Must give it serious consideration. Thanks CrackBaby.

Pocket looks good, I'll try it out.

A similar problem is when you are browsing on your PC and you want to read something later on your Nexus. Amazon have a Chrome extension called 'send to Kindle'. If you have the Kindle app on your Nexus, it's easy to send a web page from your PC to your Nexus Kindle app.
