Default high quality audio out

What is the best way to get high quality audio out form the Nexus 7 into my amplifier? The headphone socket is only going to be analog and there's still no sign of the long-promised audio dock!

What do you define as high quality audio, and why are you expecting it from this tablet?

Well, not via the headphone socket. I have some music in FLAC format, so a digital (via USB) would be better.

I wouldn't count on this, unless some godly Dev bakes it into a kernel or something.
The only way I know the mUSB port to give output is when connected to the pc, using mtp or ptp (or of course via adb)
