Default Can i copy games from dvd

Hi...New member on this great site...

Can you please tell me if it is possible to download simple hidden object games from a dvd via my desktop pc and if so, how?

Are you asking if you can install Windows or MacOS games to a Nexus 7? If so, not that I'm aware of. Unless there are some emulators for this type of thing?!?

Its not possible, sorry.

but there are a lot of simple hidden object games available on the play store, and a lot of them are very cheap of even free.

You have to understand that PCs and the Nexus 7 have a completely different hardware and OS architecture.

The PC is an x86 machine running Windows (or Linux) and the N7 is an ARM machine with a RISC archtecture (reduced instruction set) running Android.

Running the N7 with a Windows program would be like running a gas engine car with diesel fuel - you try that only once, LOL.

Although because of the pc's power compared to arm it is possible to go the other way and run Android apps on the computer using an emulator or the sdk.

You can run Android - e.g. in Virtual Box. Here is a tutorial for 2.2 but maybe there are later x86 .isos.
