Default Still waiting for update to 4.3....

I unrooted my N7 yesterday, but I still haven't received the notification for the 4.3 update. Is this normal? Anybody else out there still waiting for it?

You shouldn't need to unroot - I certainly didn't - but you do need to have the stock ROM and recovery installed for the OTA update to work. Clearing the data for Google Services may be beneficial.

So if I'm rooted (used Wug's Toolkit), Kernal 3.1.1.10-g1e8b3d8, build JWR66V, I don't need to unroot, just let it update to JWR66Y? (although don't have notification yet).

Installed CM 10.2 and it's quite stable (a whole lot more than for my S3).
If you want to stay rooted, give it a shot.

I still notice some weird scrolling issues. For example if I'm pressing my finger against the screen never lifting it while scrolling sometimes it selects stuff my finger passes over on the screen like I pressed it.

Sometimes that would happen to me too. Android still has its handful of problems. Key lime pie will hopefully fix most of these, and be a revolutionary change in performance. Or a big change, whatever comes first.

I was talking about the update to 4.3 (as per thread title) not the minor "internal" 4.3 update you mention, which seems to be much fussier about its update environment.

The update from JWR66V to JWR66Y failed on my Nexus 4; I haven't investigated why or tried it on my Nexus 7. The OTA Verifier app reports no problems, but the update itself falls over just as the progress bar reaches 100%. Irritating, but life is too short to put effort into trying to work out why Google appears to be trying to "lock down" the Nexus range - which I bought because of the freedom they offered at the time.

Got my update yesterday (JSS15Q). Tried GPS status and got 13/25 satellites in a few seconds (inside) - haven't tried to see if it stays locked however.

I assume this is the GPS/touch screen update?

Just got my update notification. Will it break root? I'm on M-kernel with TWRP.

Yes, it will break root so be sure to have the Supersu 1.51 zip in the root of your sdcard. After you flash the update in TWRP recovery and restart you will need to go back into recovery and flash the supersu zip to regain root. If you get the 'Error executing updater binary in zip...' error, look for Grouper.zip. It is the ota update modified to skip the verification check that causes the failed flash. It is available in the xda N7 threads. I had to use that one and I'm updated to JWR66Y.
