Default Nexus 7 LCD replace problem.

Hello Android enthusiasts, I need help with my Nexus 7, I want to know is this the posible fix before buying the fix.
I replaced my N7 LCD and Digitizer, after doing the booting test my screen didn't showed anything, but I plugged my N7 to my computer and I could connect, that got me thinking that something may be wrong with the connection.

Replacing the "Flex Cable Ribbon" would fix this?, what do you guys think?, any advice?
