I'm currently debating on weather to get the New nexus 7 or the Kindle fire hd.

I really like the Nexus 7 but I want the htc media link which only works on the htc one so far.

So I'm wondering if there is a ROM out there for a Nexus 7 or Kindle fire or another HTC 7" tablet out there that might function with the media link, streaming netflix ect.

you're limited to playing content stored on the tablet or on the network via DLNA, which means no YouTube, Netflix or games. Second, the app doesn't handle some common file types -- like AVI, for example.

only will work if i torrent my movies first then store them to my tablet and then play them via wifi media
