Thanks, just made it today. Its a little too centered but can be adjusted. Will be happy to do different color combos as well, its just a Gimp filter.

I had to look up how to do a screen shot, push power button and lower volume button at the same time.



I like clean Android screens and of course my favorite villain..

Is there any way to get rid of the google bar at the top?

Nova launcher should get rid of it.

Great looking homescreen. I also have Amazing text but how can you add more than 1 app to the Text so that when you click on the text it opens up all the apps you have put in there ?

hey, how do you get the mini google search (and the nova settings at the upper right) at the upper left when in portrait? mine only does it in landscape.
i'm also rooted, 160dpi and running nova.
is that part of the AOKP ROM?

never mind, it's in the nova settings.

My 5 screens (plus one N7 folder opened), Go Launcher, Multi-Picture Live WP:

1. Humingbird is launch to Audubon Birds; background view from porch.
2. Folder to photo stuff, Raindar, Gtasks widget, Camera Zoom, Alarm Clock, Quickpic.
3. Home (Austin), Palmary widget, DIGI Clock (launches to G-calendar), Batt Status Text, Moon Phase Pro, Favorites folders (one open in next screen), Widgetsoid2.
3a. open folder
4. Google Music widget, IMDB, Tv.com, Epix shortcut, Dish Remote Access, N7 Player widget, Smart Voice Recorder, Sound Search, Sound Meter.
5. Widgetsoid Contact shortcuts (to Groove IP).

There is a setting in Nova launcher that allows widgets to overlap... set an amazing text widget, create an app folder, make the custom folder icon a "blank" icon, then drag drop the folder on top of the text widget!

The launcher is SPB Shell 3D, and the App folders are built into it. It's pricey ($15), but well worth it and the developer does a great job staying current :-)

Power toggles widget at the top
HD widgets for clock/weather
Fairly simple with the rest of my apps on another screen..

Still yet to find a wallpaper I'm totally happy with!

Widget wise I have made no effort just yet, although there is a few suggestions in this thread I'll be looking into.
For me I had to have the perfect wallpaper (KLF inspired) first, Home screen just shows one picture but each swipe left (or right) reveals another.
Also had it mapped out on a template where the Google bar, dock bar, lockscreen icon and clock were so they could be avoided.

Time to hunt down some widgets :-)

Here's my new home screen that I really love. My N7 is not rooted. I'm using Fancy Widget for the clock and Ultimate Rotation Control for home screen rotation. I get all my wallpapers from Wallpaper Abyss. I also use use File Converter to convert png files to jpg files that can be uploaded to Web sites.
