Does Pinch Zoom = Fit to Screen?

I used the stock Chrome browser on the N7 & noticed that when I pinch zoom, the web page doesn't wrapped itself & fit onto the screen.

Is this true?

Even on my 'vintage' EVO4G, pinch zooming the stock web browser always fits the page exactly within the screen.

I think the recent update is "supposed" to do that, but I just checked and doesn't. I use Boat which does it fine.

Yeah Chrome didn't hit this in their recent update.
So I just downloaded Firefox to get this.

Would rather stick with the google eco system but if it doesn't work, have to adapt.

If you double tap it zooms in and out but it doesn't reformat like a regular browser with adjustable window sizes.

Exactly. Hopefully next update. Crucial - IMO - for mobile computing.
