Default Nexus 7 vs Nook Tab Rooted
I really want to pick up the nexus 7, but i'm trying to figure out if there is any huge advantage to using this over my Nook table with CWM etc. Is it worth it?

Yep.

Hey pilfro, it depends what you're looking to do with it? I'd say yes, I've only had mine a couple of days and I'm already in love with it. Never used the Nook, but I can imagine the N7 would trump it performance wise.

That being said, if the Nook colour does all you want it too, there's no point really.

If you can, head to a store and have a play with one, see how it feels compared to your Nook.

Yes its B&N. This isnt the Nook color or the Nook HD, but the tablet.

lol i was just saying google is better sorry wasnt sure never used a nook so i was just assuming amazon made it

Nook HD rooted with stock Jellybean would be better than the N7. Better build, display and SD slot. No comparison. If not rooting though, the N7 is better- no comparison. A closed in Android device is nuts.

Can the Nook HD even be rooted?
