Default battery saying at 100%

Since I last checked my battery over 18 hours ago, the battery has stayed at 100% which seems very odd to me, does this happen to anyone else?

Give it a reboot, see if that forces a change?

Have you been using it at all? Or is anything on (BT, GPS, etc...)?

It only goes down if you unplug the charger!

If you haven't been using it, it could still be at 100%. I would do as others have suggested and reboot it.

My first one stayed at 100 for 11 hours once. Of course I didn't even touch it in between then.

18 hours is crazy. If you aren't using it then maybe but a reboot would probably fix it if it's an issue, like others said.

Mine does that occasionally, staying at 100% for ages then quickly draining to 87% or less, and it even went though a stage where every time it said it had 50% left it would shut down as if it was totally drained. Its currently back to normal after charging it a few times while completely powered off.

I don't think the charging circuit or battery meter on the Nexus 7 are very good.

I have heard lots of cases of strange battery behavior.
