Default CBZ files on Nexus 7

Hi , bought a Nexus 7 for my daughter for christmas , but im having some trouble getting comic book files to view on the device. I have converted the pdf file to a cbz file and then moved the file from my laptop to a Root folder called COMICS on the device. However no mattter which comic book app i use , none seem to be able to see the file or if you try and change setting and get it to see the folder it is still unable to open the file. maybe i am missing something very basic.?i hve tried perfect view ,comicrack ,etc to name a few? any tips would be greatly appreciated.. thanks

For .CBR/.CBZ files there's ACV (android comic view), Comic Rack... and Perfect Viewer (which is more of an all around image/pdf viewers that supports .cbr/.cbz files)

I use PV to read all of my comic archive files (cbr and cbz). I'd suspect the file that you made. Try a different one that's not made by you. I can email you one if need be.

I use ComicRack Free for reading comics. When you run ComicRack for the first time it creates a folder called Comics (with a single file called comicrack.ini). Copy your .cbz and .cbr files into that folder then in ComicRack refresh/rescan to find the comics. I can't remember exactly where in the ComicRack menu the refresh/rescan is, but I remember it isn't hard to find.
