For some reason or another I don't entirely trust this... o_O
People are always waring not to pry around in electronics with anything metal, static discharge can damage components.
But the touchscreen wonk issue has to do with heat so maybe it functions as a heatsink.
Maybe if it's installed incorrectly you'll fry your phone, who knows
I don't have the touchscreen issues anymore (apart from the hardware ebedded one -.-) so I'm far from inclined to test this!
