Mine is pretty boring but I just want to test out the screen shots
Sorry if it's already been asked and answered but how do you get your widget to look exactly like that? Mine is much bigger with the temp underneath the time instead of to the side like yours. The clock takes up the whole top row on mine.
edit: Nevermind. Duh. Smaller Home!

Where did you get that HTC Hero clock widget? Thanks in advance.
Also to the room here....is there anyone that knows how to get these nice apps FOR FREE?? OR know any cool home screen apps like these that are free???

Here are mine. I am using an Escher sketch right now for my wall paper, but I also occasionally use the Nexus live wall paper or the Digital Rain (matrix) live wall paper. The very right and very left pages are photo widgets pictures of my nephew. Anywho, enjoy! And other people who haven't already, post your screens! I am enjoying seeing how people customize their phone.
These are in order moving from the very left hand panel to the very right hand panel.

Cheers. Having a look for it now. The OP should've set out a requirement to detail the widgets on each screen so people like me aren't asking these questions all the time. It's all in the interest of efficiency!

Sorry about that. I'm kind of a newb so I figured everyone would already know what it was. I am really loving Home++. It force closes kind of a lot but I was working it really good setting up my screens, widgets and shortcuts. Hopefully with regular usage it won't crash so much. I wish the "screen switcher" button worked though. I like being able to tap instead of swipe to get to the next screen.

No it's cool, I'm just trying to fill in for a mod in asking whether it was possible to add descriptions of the non-standard widgets etc. Love the pics and clean look you have.
Consider me a Home++ convert. Gorgeous and functional! I never realized what an eyesore the notification bar really was.
The notification bar is one of my favorite parts of android! But I do have home++ and I'll use it once I get tired of the nexus one interface. Such a great thing about android!
the notification bar on top you're asking? all you do is hit the ! mark on the home screen to make it come up. if you hold down that ! mark it appears and stay ontop or your screen.

How do you tell what your signal strength is?
And battery state?

It is beautiful Widgets. I think it was 99 cents. It was worth the price in my opinion. It looks nice (with the transparency) and hasnt been buggy at all. The large one is nice as well. I think they have a website where you can get all the info. Just search the web for Beautiful Widgets Android. There are videos on YouTube as well.
And thanks. My nephew is pretty awesome. One of the best reasons to get out of bed in the morning.
I would post mine......but Android doesn't support a screencap app, and the one that DOES is Home+ which is what everybody is using here to even get a picture. (I don't care for Home+ so not downloading it..waste of the phones resources IMO)
And the only other option (which is the best option for getting a GOOD quality screencap is to root the phone..which I'm not doing) that is still not in its fancy yet and really doesn't even bring anything to the table if your rooted. IMO
O well.
Maybe someone someday will just bring a screencap app to the market..HEY I can wish right?

I didn't use any app. I have USB debugging enabled, I connected the N1 to my PC, took the pic with the Android SDK. I am not rooted at all.

What do you mean you took the picture with the SDK? How you do this? I don't see where you would have the option of taking a screencap using the stock stuff on the phone.

You don't need to download anything to your phone to take a screenshot.
Just download the Android SDK onto your computer, enable USB debugging on your phone, and use the screenshot option in the SDK User Interface.
But if you wanted to take a screenshot on the move from your phone, you're out of luck. The steps really aren't difficult, and are all at the beginning of this thread.
C'mon peeps, it has been weeks since the release, more screenies please
a lot of nice homescreens! i haven't done much yet... but that home++ looks really sweet... still gives a clean look...
is that weather widget also part of home++ or an add-on ?
cheers
Beautiful Widgets indeed. It's called Beautiful Home.
Oh and Home++ is not FC'ing nearly as much as it was when I was setting it up. Still maybe once or twice a day though but I'm using it almost constantly. Stable enough for me that I don't use Launcher anymore.
My current homescreen with expanded (well, springboarded) contact list/call log:
Without, it looks like this. And here's the app list. Pressing "favorites" launches a list of apps I most frequently use; "Organizer" launches the Pure Agenda widget. Not sure I quite like it--I'm still very new to Sweeter Home (takes insanely long to set up your own theme, and modifying other people's is kind of painful and incredibly glitchy)--but it's something to play around with. Very fun, if tiring after a while.
Long before the Nexus One launched, the media was filled with speculation, buzz, rumors, and excitement regarding the possibility of a "Google Phone". The rumors were put to rest when Google announced the Nexus One, the first ever Google ... Read More
