Beautiful Widgets indeed. It's called Beautiful Home.
Awesome! thnx! I'm using this now - I wasn't using the actual Google search bar widget much - since the magnifying glass gets you to the same place - which is how I normally start searches...
So got Beautiful 'Smaller' Home on my home screen... it's great and I really love how it keeps the "Android" clock font... love that font! (tired of the usualy HTC flipper clock that most themes seem to 'borrow'...)

any good free screen capture apps out there? i looked, but couldn't seem to find anything decent...
what do most of you guys use?
(that's one thing that was cool with the iphone... hold down home, and quickly hit the sleep/power button once... instant screen shot)... Is there a native sequence of button presses on the Nexus that will allow this? Or is an app the only way?

That one looks pretty nice. I like my Pure Calendar also.

I'm not sure about stand alone apps but I'm using Home++. It's a feature within the app.

Reason: Triple Post
The Following User Says Thank You to Bob Loblaw1 For This Useful Post:
just one more comment about the beautiful home widget - i really like that it's only 1x4 rather than a massive 2x4 like the HTC clock widget and others that are similar...
Oh and if someone reading this wants to know how to take a screen shot with Home++, from the page you want to take a pic of hit Menu>Preferences>Graphics.

I love the completely transparent look of your Beautiful Smaller Home. I'm trying to skin mine like that but when I go to "download skins" it just endlessly says "loading skins list" and nothing comes up. Am I doing something wrong?

No, you're doing it right, the skin is called naked droid.
I've just tried it again myself and it's doing the same, must be the server.
I keep reading about this rom being an early alpha and being kinda buggy. Plus you can only use 3MP on the camera. I'll wait till it gets a little better.
i don't quite like how Sense does the icons though...
I don't think that's particular to Sense. I don't remember exactly how or what with but there is a widget or group you can set up to put 4 icons in the space of 1.
With Sense you should be able to have rows of 4 icons as usual.
no I mean the actual look of the icons... I prefer the Android ones like on the Nexus or Droid... I don't like the Sense icons - they look "cheap".... I know... small meaningless issue, but if you can't stand how your device looks, it can drive you crazy!
that looks AMAZING!!! the stock wallpaper, but with the Beautiful Small Home, and the Pure calendar, along with Home ++ all work really well! The the Beautiful small home, makes it look like the rainy cloud is part of the scene
You don't get any symbol on the screen, you'll need to click the ! to see what notifications there are.
I tried out Home++ for a while but it just crashed too much for me. It has some great features but I just couldn't deal with the FCs, Widgets not updating, etc. I kept waiting to see if any updates would come out but it's just been so long it makes me wonder if the developer has stopped development on it. I also got rid of Apps Organizer, the lag of opening up the folder was just way too much for me, so I switched to folders.

I've never had a force close with Home++ and all widgets have been updating regularly. It's brilliant!
Updated screenshots with all 3 of my home screens.
I followed the instructions, but..
I cannot be the only one, who cannot run "ddms.bat"
.. I click on the ddms and a black screen pops up for just a sec and closes...
Got SDK & JDK installed on Win7 64bit.....
(Sorry, if the question has been asked before, but I can´t find a thread or the questions here..)
Edit: solved...just did the jdk-update and it worx!

Long before the Nexus One launched, the media was filled with speculation, buzz, rumors, and excitement regarding the possibility of a "Google Phone". The rumors were put to rest when Google announced the Nexus One, the first ever Google ... Read More
