Simple screen capture similar to iPhone?

Does anyone know if it's possible to do a simple screen capture similar to the feature on Apple's iPhone? or if there's an app for that?

There's 'drocap2', but it requires root access.

Otherwise, you gotta use the SDK method.

You know it's an OS/phone for real geeks when taking screenshots requires command prompt and/or installing multiple SDKs.

home++ comes w screenshot function, but as far as i know, only for taking shots of your homescreens. haven't played with it too much. the only reason i liked having screenshot function so much on my bb was for pandora(good for reminding me of songs to get later), and if i was having problems, i could easily post the problems on forums.
