unable to access my nexus s storage when in clockwork recovery

*******HELP***********
I am using the clockwork recovery mod on my nexus s 4g. i need to put super user onto the phone, but when i go and select mount usb storage at the bottom of the menu, my phone's internal storage does not show up!!! i need to put super user in there!!!

If you ROOTED your phone superuser is already on your phone in the APPS menu. I think. It was with mine...

I was using there how to video when i got stuck with this problem. and no super user was not there. would it be possible to put superuser on my phone, then go into clockwork recovery?!?!?

12) Then choose the “su-2.3.6.1-xx-signed.zip” and hit the Power Button. This will install the Superuser app and you can reboot your phone.

I'm sure you saw this already but just is case you missed it
