Question Where's the equals symbol on the gingerbread keyboard?

I downloaded a leaked copy of the gingerbread keyboard for my Nexus One. Since the Nexus S is currently the only phone with Gingerbread, I figured I'd come here for advice.

I was typing something to a friend and I was trying to find the equals symbol (=). As far as I can tell, it doesn't appear to be an option, even when long pressing. Was this symbol forgotten when creating the keyboard or does someone know how I can find it?

Update: Right after I got finished posting this question, I took another look at the keyboard and found it in the symbols keyboard after pressing the "alt" key.

Default

Press the symbol button "?123" on the left, then press ALT button on the left, then you will see the = button.
