Default Charging pads

Is there a charging pad available for the Nexus? Are they even useful or safe? (I'm talking of those new things I've seen advertised where you just put the phone on top and it charges instead of having to plug it into the USB).

Thanks!

real wireless not possible and nothing compatible right now, and personally I dislike it because its not really ''wireless'' cause you have to pop the phone in a case to charge it when dropped on the plate

The (Palm/HP) Pre has it built into their inductive Touchstone charger. Pretty cool.

Think all the others (Powermat, etc.) use a special and sometimes bulky case that's plugged into the charging port of the phone or replace the back cover. Some of them are electrical (by contact) and some inductive (wireless).

As said, Palm have Touchstone
You can use the Powermat but you need an adapter to use it
