Default Backing up google voice texts

Is there a way to back up my google voice text messages?

I would like to save text messages without typing them up myself or copy and pasting each one.

I think google does that for you dont they? all my old ones are there still from last summer lol

I want them on my computer if possible in case I switch phones or something happens.
