Default The relativley scary update process

I finally got the OTA 4.0.4 notification today and started it. The phone rebooted and for maybe 1 - 2 seconds, a green Android icon with an open chest with a blueish orb appeared but vanished and I was left with a black screen with the capacitive buttons stuck on. I freaked a little thinking "Oh no, not again" but I left the phone alone and booted up my computer to consult the internet when it suddenly restarted and loaded up to an application optimization pop up. Directly after that, it started up normal. I checked the settings and it is indeed on 4.0.4 now.

I'm posting this just incase this happens to someone else. Because it certainly gave me a scare.
