Default ICS 4.0.4 seach button bug

Hey guys! I own an unlocked Nexus S. Had the search button bug on low signal with Gingerbread, now same thing on ICS 4.0.4... but it's been happening more often.

For those that don't know, the search button presses itself really fast, then the "complete action using" menu comes up, as if you pressed and hold the search button. Only way to make the phone work is to press the power button to lock, then unlock.

Any ideas? anyone having the same issue?

I'm using I9020AUCKJ1

Thanks!!
