Default LED notification

is there any app that will keep the LED on my nexus one blinking when I have a notification?

I hate that I keep comparing it to my old blackberry, but I'm looking for something just like that.

...well you have a option to keep the led blinking when notified in your settings under SOUND > PULSE NOTIFICATION LIGHT.

Thanks for the quick reply... That just pulses my trackball for 1-2 seconds and then stops. It doesn't continue to pulse for me to know if I got something..

Try Trackball Alert from the Market. Works well, but it might only work for rooted phones, not sure.

Blink or blink flash led will cover you sms, mms, and missed calls. Gmail notifier will take care of your gmail account. The beauty of these apps is that each one gets a custom lolor and flash rate. The only thing is that theres no one app to do all.

trackball alert is an all in one app that does it all. you have to have a compatible rom and be rooted

I like trackball alert but the fact that you have to have a rom thats compatible is what kills it for me. Im rooted and all but im using the stock rom, it would be great if it worked on any rom. My solution is for people running stock without root

Thanks Rusty, that it did.. However I cant get a satisfactory pulse rate.

I set it to very fast and its like once very 5+ seconds....

Still pretty trick for me and my unrooted phone...
Always looking for something better though......

So I emailed the developer through the market ,where you can ask you can ask questions....And when I got home I had a response..on my home pc in Gmail...It has a link to a beta2 .apk file....Great, do I need to access gmail with the phone and use the link to install the new .apk file?
Or is it more complicated than that?
Thanks
Tony

Should be as simple as that, as long as you enable installation from unknown sources in settings.

Got it, its a little different than the publicly available version.
It has a neat LED test screen to see which colors you can display (didnt quite work right on the N1 though).
Changing the frequency of the pulse doesnt work.

Is that something I can do in cyanogen if I root?
