There is a firmware update for the S800c available in case anyone is interested (not JellyBean or anything like that, android version is 2.3.3).

The only thing I notice different is the W-Fi connection time seems to be much faster.

I know there's not a ton of users here, but thanks for updating here! That's much appreciated! I've been interested in Android cameras, and That's why I keep an eye on this one, because Nikon is my preferred Camera manufacturer.

They are coming fast and furious: Now there is a v1.2 update (I'd search S800c downloads on the nikon site, the links seem to move around on each update).
