The bootloader hasn't been unlocked yet. But from what I've read, they're working on it.

Still, rooting and slapping an alternate launcher on there is pretty sweet. I got my wife one for Christmas and rooted it as soon as it asked her to pay $3 for a FB app that isn't even really FB.

Hopefully we'll be able to run CM9 on it soonish.
