Default All of the sudden - WiFi wont work

Hello,
Noob here. I have the latest stable version of CM7 running from the SD card. All had been well. For some reason, I can no longer turn on
WiFi. I've powered off. I've rebooted. No luck.

The wifi works fine if I boot with the NC native operating system (SD card removed). It worked fine until just recently. No new apps/mods had been installed.

Any suggestions?

Look all around in the settings and try to find somewhere that shows airplane mode on, that will kill the wifi.

BUT, if you hit airplane mode, you'll have to turn wifi back on every time you reboot.

An unrelated suggestion: Get u-boot.bin, put it on your SD card. you will never again have to remove your SD card to boot into NC mode again. Full instructions and download link here:

[ADV](multi)u-boot v0.4 - xda-developers

N2Acards.com has these instructions:

1. Power down your Nook
2. Take the Nook2Android card out and put it into a microSd card adapter (or USB muti-card reader)
3. Plug the card into a computer
4. Once the card is recognized a new drive called “boot” should appear
5. Open the contents of the drive and you should see a file called u-boot.bin
6. Rename the file u-boot.bin to u-boot.bak (as a backup)
7. Download the new file http://www.n2acards.com/u-boot.bin
8. Copy the new file to the “boot” drive
9. Remove the card from the adapter and put it back in the Nook Color
10. Turn on and follow the instructions on screen

emmc = Nook OS
sd = Android

The instructions above work even if you didn't buy a card from N2A. When booted with this file in place, you'll get a 5-second boot menu. Use the volume up/down buttons. If you want Android, do nothing but wait 5 seconds. If you want NC mode, press the volume down button four times to move through the menu and boot.

This will save wear and tear on the SD card slot, which some people say is fragile.
