Default No Market app with GApps and CM7 installed

Hello,

I've got CM7 build 7 20120420 NIGHTLY for my CM7 build and I used the Recover mode Reboot method to get GApps 20110820 installed on an SD card on my Nook Color. It books fine, I did all the setup (as far as I know) for GApps, but there is no Android Marketplace app anywhere on the device that I can find.

I am woefully unfamiliar with Android in general, so I may be missing something super obvious, but there are no apps call Market, Marketplace, Android Market/Marketplace, Google Market/Marketplace - nothing. The only even vaguely relevant thing I can find is something under setting called "Market Apps Installer" that has the CM7 logo beside it.

I would greatly appreciate any help on getting the Marketplace somewhere on the device and running. Thanks in advance!

Ahh, wow. Thanks for the tip! Now I'll just go pretend I was awesome and knew that all along.

I am running CM 7 on my nook color. I cannot get Google Play to let me add an account.

I cannot log into the google play markeyplace, I do not have access to any of the Apps.

I installed via a SD card, I've tried both CM 7.03 and CM 7.1

I downloaded GAPPS and installed it after installing CM 7.

When I load CM 7 I don't have a Google Play application, it doesn't ask me to associate a google account the first time I load and when I access play.google.com it tells me my tablet has not accessed the site before and cannot download anything.

I've spent about 2 hours scouring forums posts, retracing my steps and just generally baffled.

What am I doing wrong?

A little more info please...

Did cm7 on your NC ever work?
Is CM7 installed on your NC or on the sdcard?
Was it a clean install or an upgrade from another version?
What version of gApps did you install?

Did you check your date/time to make sure it's correct?

Did you try finding Google Play Store in your list of all apps (in settings) and clear data and cache and uninstall updates?

Did you try my suggestions, esp setting the date & time?

If you're lazy, you could boot into webOS connect to your wifi, then boot into Android, which should also fix your time.

What is this "webOS" of which you speak? How does one get it on a Nook Color?
