Default Backup?

[QUOTE=ODGeek;5136968]Saw the part about extracting the boot.img and using fastboot to "fastboot flash boot boot.img". That step caused the phone to start boot-looping again.

Then I thought I was doing things wrong--i.e. I was rebooting every step of the way (flash ROM, boot to home screen--Then reboot & flash kernel, boot to home screen--Then reboot boatloader and use fastboot flash boot boot.img, then reboot)...So, I tried again, with *NO* reboots...The end result was a phone that boot-looped constantly.

Rats! Here's the info on my phone, in case that makes any difference...

(From the bootloader screen):
May 14 2012,20:27:38

Hardware Version: 0002
Software version: 1.08.652.11 710RD

Software information
Android version: 4.0.3
HTC Sense version: 4.0
Software version: 1.08.652.11 710RD
HTC SDK API level: 4.21
HTC Extension version: HTCExtension_403_1_GA_9

Kernel version: 3.0.16-gf4370a2 root@ABM007 #1 PREEMPT
Baseband version:
Build number 1.08.652.11 CL63812 release-keys
Browser version: WebKit/534.30

Were you able to get a backup of this rom in this state?
(I know it may not work for your current setup, but I have a phone with exactly the same Baseband (radio) version that I am unable to find an RUU for.

If you have a backup of your phone in this state, I may be able to fix my own phone (by flashing to this radio version).

As I have an HTC One V that is ntelos Branded, tried to flash it to cm10, but forgot (or didn't realize that cm10 is based on Virgin Mobile (different radio I think), and my backup failed.

JMZ if you are still around, quick question on the full sense 4 rosie,is it with landscape mode or portrait only for homescreen with widgets? I cant seem to get it to rotate on homescreen at all and no setting is available to select homescreen and or remove screens. Looks like stock rosie except for modified app drawer.
