Default Need a little guidance

Does anybody know the command syntax for adb or terminal emulator to extract our recovery ? What dev block is it on & which dev block is the kernel ? If anybody here has experience with extracting & building from source then please point me in the right direction, I'm pretty sure I'm not typing something because I use adb all the time. to push & pull & reboot into bootloader mode, recovery, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Is the path /sys/dev/block/ ? Not sure though.

STEP3 – Creating a custom ClockWorkMod (CWM) Recovery image | two.bit.coder

That's how to make the recovery basically. Not sure if TWRP or CWM Touch would be different.

As far as the actual recovery image...

From what I've seen with SOME phones (Not all) its in /system/bin....I could be wrong, so don't quote me. I fired up my One V and opened ES as my root explorer and couldn't find it...
