ok so you got bootloader...how about fastboot?

[edit; if you can get into fastboot you can flash roms that way also.]

---> ROM Flashing via fastboot
  1. Obtain a ROM of your choice, and note the location on your computer.
  2. reboot your device into fastboot mode via one of the following options.
    1. adb reboot bootloader (requires USB debugging to be turned on).
    2. power off the device then back on with 'vol up' + power button.
  3. Wipe your device.
    1. fastboot -w
  4. Update your ROM.
    1. fastboot update </path/to/your/RomFile.zip>
  5. Your phone will update and automatically reboot into the new ROM.

is that where you have the adb and fastboot tools at? for me the directory would be something like this:

---> c:/android/platform-tools/ROM-name-here.zip

This happened to me yesterday and I couldn't get out of it. Didn't even have the phone for 24 hours before I broke it. I powered it down and took it back to best buy and blamed my exchange on the "Battery not being able to hold a charge." They didn't even check the phone. Geek Squad is ******ed. I now have a new phone to tinker with haha. Hopefully I'll be able to get JB up and running on it soon. I did it easily with a Galaxy Nexus. Not sure what I did wrong yesterday though...
