system update ends in cwm recovery

My o2x have just downloaded a system update. But when i try to install it, it reboots (it is supposed to reboot) and boots up in CMW based recovery. When i select "reebot now", it has forgotten that it was supposed to install the update, and gives me a new notification that the update is available, and asks if i want to install it now. My phone was rooted, but i did a factory reset to fix the problem. Fore some reason CMW is still on my phone.
Help please?

It seems I am having the exact same problem.
Updated from Android 2.2 to 2.3.4 with the official LG Update.
Then rooted my device.

A few weeks ago this software update was available. I don't even know what will be updated but I get stuck in the CMW.

Did anyone find a solution yet or can say what the update is for?
