Clockwork Recovery isn't available for the GT540, so you can't do backups of your ROM

Clockwork Recovery IS available for GT540, I have it installed on mine. ROM Manager does not support GT540.

Here's a link to version ClockworkMod Recovery 2.5.1.8 for GT540:

Well recovery_clockwork_2.5.1.8_swift.img is more up to date, and that's the one you should use for the best results (link)
