Hey thanks for answear well what can i say Radiant HD works now with no lags so preformance is a lot better even without OC.Everything works camer,wifi etc.
Only thing that's worse i battery it drains a bit faster still enought for 10 hours of mp3 so im fine.
you may need to install via recovery. If you can access the sd card copy the extracted zip file over and flash through clockwork mod. If your bootlooping you have access to recovery.

Hello friends ... I'm a newbee ... i installedCM7 Swiftdroid V2.0 RC4 Clockworkmod v4.0.0.5 android V 2.3.5 ... Previously i had the official release of android 2.1 in my phone ... In that previous version while getting a call when the ringtone rings i had the option to slide to silent without cancelling the call ... but in this CM7 V2.3.5 ther is no option during call other than to end it(Red button in slide)... Can anyone tell me how to set that silent slide option in this CM7 V2.3.5 SWD V2.0 RC4...
Android235GT540 comes up as a text file and not .exe for me. Anyone else have this issue? I tried opening and it does not work and just hangs.
I saw another file that cagsa put up that it probably the the espanol version of the software. I was about to use it but hesitated in case it could cause issues in the future, since i need the English language version.

Question in 2.1 when i turned my phone off and plugged it into charged it did charge in other way.
In 2.3.5 when i turn it off and plug in it turns on and charges.
I want to know if there are any disadventages if i do that...
The only disadvantage is because the phone is running while its charging it will charge slower, than if its off while its charging but if you charge overnight it shouldnt be a problem.

There isn't as far as I know atb the moment. HTC's have the same problem with CM7.1 and it can be fixed in most cases by copying the libril.so library from a stock ROM.
I tried it out of interest on my GT540 but it came up with the same error although it did list all the service providers in the radio log which the stock CM library didn't do.

If you boot into recovery you can backup your ROM there use the volume buttons to navigate, the call button to select and the power button to go back.
In recovery go to Backup and restore and hit backup. It will backup all partitons in the flash memory, its the easiest way to backup, and doesnt require you to be in android to backup, or restore if there is a problem with android.

Solved that...now my problem is that it stucks in the gingerbread update at the point where it opens the cmd and it's gonna install gingerbread...it says <waiting for the device>.I have installed every possible driver for it!Dunno what to do more!
If your PC will not find the device and you have the drivers installed, I would try going to Mur4ik's twitter and downloading the recovery files, extract the first zip to the root of your sd card, then boot to recovery, go to "install zip from sd card" then find the zip that was extracted and hit yes.
This will install the latest update and keep all your data and apps

Hey guys everything working here, but cyanogen comes with some bundled apps (that aren't even in the wiki list) such as:
-terminal emulator
-news and weather reader
are these ok to remove with titanium backup?
also, what is DSP manager?
Terminal emulator is just a linux shell that supports linux commands to perform tasks with the phone so I believe it is safe to remove also I dont think news and weather is needed to run, just perform a nandroid backup through recovery before you remove system apps incase there are problems.
DSP manager seems to be settings for the sound devices, I would not reccomend you remove it.

Somebody wrote battery never reaches 100%. When I turn the wireless location off, check 'use only 2G', take the brightness down etc. sometimes it reaches 100% for a short period of time. I can show you a screenshot: dl.dropbox.com/u/230395/100.png

BEFORE UPDATE, YOU NEED TO DELETE THE DALVIK-CACHE, off the phone, press HOME + POWER buttons for several seconds or easier with the phone on, press the power button for several seconds,in menu choose 'Reboot', then choose 'Recovery'. This tutorial is for all LG GT540. The whole time I've used this ROM I have not had any problems, everything works perfect and fast.
What do we need?
+I RECOMMEND FORMATING SD CARD FOR COMING CLEAN WITH THE NEW VERSION AND NOT RESULTING PROBLEMS.
+DISABLE YOUR ANTIVIRUS PROTECTION BECAUSE IT CAN BLOCK THE PROCESS, BUT ISNT A VIRUS. ALL THE FILES ARE CLEAN.
Instructions
1- During installation, all your data will erase (contacts, configurations, data and applications installed), but if you dont want to lose the information, you should make a backup using MyBackupPro. http://www.fileserve.com/file/sTYJNgs
2- To install Android 2.3.5, you need to first have a fastboot rom installed on the phone. If your phone already has a rom with fastboot skip to step 11.
3- Install msxml.
4- Then install the necessary drivers for your GT540 to be recognized, for this installLGAndroidDriver_WHQL_ML_Ver1.0_All_Win7-Vista (you can use this for XP, Vista and 7).
5- Run KDZ_FW_UPD. Change “Type” a “3GQCT” and “PhoneMode” “DIAG”. Browse europe open rom V20A_00.kdz and clic Open.
6-In your phone ABLE DEBUGGING USB, Settings>Aplications>Development> USB Debugging
7- Plug the cable into your phone and PC, and wait to be fully recognized by the drivers. **** Note: When you connect the phone, just connect and you do not activate Mass Storage.
8- Now clic “Launch software update”, DO NOT USE THE PC TO THE PROCESS IS COMPLETE. THE PHONE WILL REBOOT WHEN FINISHED THE PROCESS IN KDZ. (The process takes about 15 minutes in KDZ).
9- In your phone ABLE DEBUGGING USB anew, Run KDZ_FW_UPD anew. Change “Type” a “3GQCT” and “PhoneMode” “DIAG”. Browse romfastboot.kdz in KDZ Updater folder and clic Open.
10- Now clic “Launch software update”, DO NOT USE THE PC TO THE PROCESS IS COMPLETE. THE PHONE WILL REBOOT WHEN FINISHED THE PROCESS IN KDZ. (The process takes about 15 minutes in KDZ).
11- When this process completes, the fastboot is now installed on phone.
12-UNPLUG OR DISCONECT THE PHONE FROM PC.
13. Turn off your phone, press the camera button and power button while pressing do not leave until the FastBoot mode is activated, you will realize that it is activated when there appears nothing on the screen just stay with the backlight on. CONNECT THE PHONE TO PC. **NOTE: FOR USERS WINDOWS XP ONLY possibly when connect your phone in fastboot mode, the pc could not detect, should download this for your windows detect the phone in fastboot: http://www.fileserve.com/file/DpKzhqa ,unzip it, go Control Panel-Administrative Tools-Computer Management or devices, and in the list find your LG phone as LG Android or Android Fastboot will appear with an icon "?" yellow, give right click, Update Driver or driver search from a specific location, and sections of the folder where you downloaded the driver and select android_usb.inf
14- Run Android235GT540 and follow the steps of the installer. (DO NOT DISCONNECT THE PHONE UNTIL THE PROCESS IS COMPLETE)
13- NOW YOU HAVE ANDROID GINGERBREAD 2.3.5 IN YOUR PHONE. Change the language in Settings. Then reboot.

After installing Gingerbread is not necessary to do root, version comes with root and superuser.

IIRC the 'network mode' option has never been part of the standard Android release and it's something that the phone manufacturer's add.
(I'm using 2.1, it may be a bit different)
Ok, here's how to set up 3G internet + MMS.
1. Go to Settings --> Wireless & Networks --> Mobile Network Settings --> Access Point Names.
2. You should see a blank list. Press "New APN".
3. Fill in the following:
Code:
Name: Optus Yes Internet
APN: yesinternet
Proxy:
Port:
Username:
Password:
Server:
MMSC:
MMS Proxy:
MMS Port:
MMS Protocol (Android 2.1+): WAP 2.0
MCC: 505
MNC: 02
Auth Type: PAP
APN Type: internet or default
Press "Save". You should go back to the "Mobile Network Settings" page.
5. Turn on 3G (mobile network) and test it out. Hopefully, it worked. If not, then recheck and make sure you filled in everything correctly.
6. If it worked, you'll probably want to set up MMS too. Go back to the "Access Point Names" page, and press "New APN".
7. Fill in the following:
Press "Save". You should go back to the "Mobile Network Settings" page.
8. Test it by:
A. Sending a friend a MMS.
B. Getting a friend to send you a MMS.
I recommend that you do both, to make sure it works both ways.
Hopefully, it worked. If not, then recheck and make sure you filled in everything correctly.

There is no WCDMA only option in CM7, you will just have to cope with the signal fluctuating between 2g and 3g networks
update button during installation doesn't do anything
i dont know what the problem is, but the Android235GT540_15-AugustENG.exe doesn't update when i click the update button! i can see that it spawns a cmd window, but disappears as soon as it appears.
i have verified that i'm in fastboot mode through the "fastboot devices" command. i have wiped off the cache as well.
