The CyanogenMod ROM with the least issues is Bobz CyanogenMod (it's in my signature)
MMS is not working for some people, others it does (there is also 2 versions of the ROM because the one in the OP doesn't boot for some people and the 2nd version works with the other phones that wouldn't boot with the OP link).
2nd Version: http://androidforums.com/optimus-m-all-things-root/403689-rom-wip-cm7-2-0-rc0-bobz-15.html#post3896055
The ROM with the least issues is probably Kelso's new 2.2.2 ROM (MMS works): [ROM][MODS] K3LSOMOD ROMS [updated 1-20-12] [ICS MINT THEME by PBOT Added]
It is a very stock-like ROM.

All ya gotta do is flash the MMS Fix cause that will give you APN's. Then after you do that open up Voice Dialer, say "Open APN's", then when your in APN's press MetroPCS (there should be a link under it like this: wap.metropcs.net), make sure the lil box next to it is checked too, then go to the password part and change the password to mymetro, then press your menu button, press save, reboot, and your done.
